THE ideal figure for women has been revealed as 0.7 – the most attractive waist-to-hip ratio.
A waist measuring 70 per cent of the hip circumference is more important for men than breast size or overall weight.
And guys take milliseconds to decide if they find a girl sexy, says anthropologist Barnaby Dixson.
Actresses Jessica Alba and Marilyn Monroe, and model Kate Moss all possess the perfect ratio.
Dixson, of Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, studied what men found attractive through history.
He found the figure came up almost every time. He said: “It is likely that perfect 0.7 ratio sends a biological signal that the woman is most fertile and most likely to produce a healthy offspring – no matter what size she is.”
He also claimed women are more likely to pick a leaner and less macho man as they are seen as more caring and gentle.
