On the eve of the Turkish capital, was prepared by the world’s largestĀ omelette, the weight of which amounted to 4.4 tons. The record was immediately entered in the Guinness Book.
It is known that for cooking omelets, giant Turkish cooks have spent 110 000 eggs, 432 liters of oil and 2.5 hours of time. Dish is cooked on a huge pan with a diameter of ten meters. Representative of the Guinness Book, presenting the masters registration documents achievements, said the previous record set by their colleagues from Africa, make an omelet weighing 3.6 tons.
