Apeiron Hotel is a designconcept for a new 7 star hotel in Bubai.develpors and construction schedule have not been announced as of October 2007. The Apeiron Hotel would be the second 7 star hotel to be built in Dubai (The Burj Al Arab hotel was the first 7 star hotel). Designed by UK’s Sybarite Architects, the hi-tech futuristic hotel would feature a two-storeyed jungle at the top of the 28-storeyed building. The seven star hotel is an US $350 million project that would be 300m from the coast of Dubai. Access to the hotel is restricted to water and air only.

Hilton Hotel
The Hilton chain of hotels around the world spell luxury is the vocabulary of the new age. Around the world, the Hilton hotels are known for their beautiful architecture, luxurious decor and also as being one of the most expensive in the business.
The Hilton hotels have long been the epitome of brining a dash of innovativeness into a service that has been known for aeons; just when the world thought luxury hotels meant private swimming pools Hilton brought to you the world’s very first underwater restaurant. It seems Hilton aims to please and shock at the same time and their latest venture is just as shocking. Hilton plans on building a luxury hotel in Inner Mongolia, China. VMX Architects, the architectural firm that won a competition to design the new Hilton, intends to build a 32,000sqm building with 300 rooms, restaurants, bars, conference rooms and sports centre.
The hotel which has already been titled Ordos Hilton is designed in circular shape to accommodate a 360 degree view of the area and also reduce the distance between different areas within the building. The five star hotel will hold a swimming pool and sports centre within the circular space of the building. The project which attempts to symbolise the spirit of Inner Mongolia and thus would carry a more oriental styling is estimated to be around 46 million euro.
Atkins has won an international competition to design a resort hotel which is going to be built in a 100 meter deep quarry in the Songjiang district near to
Shanghai in China.
Although from these pictures the hotel looks almost unreal, the project is expected to be completed by May, 2009.
The quarry will protect the resort from the weather and reduce the energy needs of the hotel. The complex will contain restaurants, cafes, sport facilities,
and will even include underwater public areas and guestrooms.
Martin Jochman, the chief in design team, says “We drew our inspiration from the quarry setting itself, adopting the image of a green hill cascading down the
natural rock face as a series of terraced landscaped hanging gardens. In the centre, we have created a transparentglass ‘waterfall’ from a central vertical
circulation atrium connectingthe quarry base with the ground level. This replicates the natural waterfalls on the existing quarry face.”

below sea level in the Arabian Gulf, off the coast of Jumerah. The hotel was constructed on a budget of 300 million pounds, and visitors will have to take a
train through an underground tunnel to reach the hotel. The resort covers a mammoth 260 hectares which is almost the size of London’s Hyde Park. The upper
storey of the land station houses numerous facilities such as a cosmetic surgical clinic, a marine biological research center, and conference facilities. The
sub-marine leisure complex houses 220 suites with a single night costing upwards of £300. There are very few places in the world where such a grandiose design
could actually take shape. But, contrary to what many people may think, Dubai is home to an open-minded and contemporary community. Hydropolis was designed
with the idea of linking humanity and architecture. The basic blueprint is that of a figure eight lying on its side and inscribed within a circle. The spaces
which are created within the basin contain areas such as theme suites, restaurants, and meeting rooms. These are analogous to the human organism, the nervous
and cardio vascular systems with the central knot representing the pulse of life. The ballroom which is located at the nerve center will be connected to
different floors via asymmetrical pathways. A massive petal shaped retracting roof will enable the staging of open air events. The central ballroom is flanked
by catering areas which enable food to easily be supplied during banquets. The lower level houses the staff room, loading areas, and goods storage. The land
station features a top class restaurant and a high-tech movie cinema which screens the evolution of marine life and the history of submerged architecture.
There exists a viewing platform at the front opening of the sliding roof which allows for stunning views of the architecture as well as light shows. The chief
designer and developer Joachim Hauser had a hard time drumming up investors as no one was willing to risk money to the tune of €550 million. The Dubai
Development & Investment Authority (DDIA) finally established a framework to handle the grants and construction began in summer of 2005.
