The Portabello Estate ( “beautiful door”) is an ultra exclusive estate located between Newport and Laguna beach in Orange County, California. The giant residence consists of no less than eight bedrooms, ten bathrooms (and 5 half baths) and two saltwater pools surrounded by spectacular grotto cliffs. To list just a few, here are some of the unique amenities of this project, as seen on the official Portabello website: a garage for 16 cars, full fitness facilities, a three-story central seascape grotto with two saltwater swimming pools, two spas, a tunnel, a waterside, waterfall features, barbecue area and bathroom, 10-pin bowling lanes and many more. Originally listed at $76 million in 2006, the 22,000 square foot (2,044 sq m) residence was eventually sold in 2010, for $34.1 million.
