When Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin Jr. created history by being the first men to step on the surface of the moon, history was made but then this monumental landing also gave rise to a lot of conspiracy theories. There are a lot of people who believe that man never landed on the moon and that was all a big hoax played on a gullible public.

Princess Diana was murdered
When the news broke out about the death of Diana, one of Britain’s most loved Princess, millions were saddened but the accident under the tunnel in Paris also gave rise to a lot of conspiracy theories. One theory suggest that she was killed because she was going to marry a Muslim man, Dodi Al Fayad which would have complicated matters as she was the mother of the future head of the Church of England.

9/11 Was an Inside Job
The attack on the World Trade Centre was one of the most devastating terror attacks on US soil. Millions of people all over the world were shocked at this huge security lapse on the part of America, considered among the powerful nations of the world. But what was really interesting was that this monumental event gave rise to many conspiracy theories. Many dared to say that it was an inside job and that the Bush administration and the CIA along with the Homeland Security knew about the attack. The reason for carrying out the attack was to generate public support for militarization, thereby making the United States more like a police state with more government control. As the 9/11 attacks reaches a tenth anniversary, the theory refuses to die.

Pearl Harbour Was a False Flag Attack
Although the time gap between these two events that changed the course of American history was huge, many feel that like the 9/11 attacks the Pearl Harbor attack could have been avoided as the then President of America, Roosevelt knew about the whole scheme in advance and did not infrom the inform those in charge of the Hawaiian military base.President Roosevelt was accused of doing all this to get a justified reasont to declare war on Hitler, because at that time the public as well as the majority of the Congress was against entering into war in Europe and also because of the American isolationist approach in its foreign affairs.
